Recently Touch-AKL created some great new Point of Sale for Bon Accords best selling Frappé Mix Zero Degrees.
It was a departure from the existing look and feel of over 5 years for Zero Degrees and Paul L’Amie was keen for a re-design.
When I took the brief it was tempting just to move the existing pieces about arguing that it was consistent with what was there before but I was keen to move right away from the old style as I considered it dated and unattractive.
What was missing was any emotional engagement with the product offered. It was almost like a sticker or a signpost. We developed two new lines that we felt really gave the product some soul and meaning.
"Be Cool" gives Zero Degrees a new flavour and inviting look for consumers. Bon Accords clients are supplied their POS by Bon Accord and they were immediately very keen to use the new material.
"Be Refreshed" follows the same theme of instant fulfillment for the consumer with the new range of Iced Teas and Coolers. We also developed new labels for this new range of concentrates that follows the sophisticated feel.
It was an exciting and creative brief to work on and Paul is a great client who knows what he wants and isn't afraid to say no.
